Browsing for pictures in the features section is a great way to get to know the Wildlight collection. You'll quickly see that we have outstanding quality images, all fully edited - no micro junk - there are no compromises here! The feature images are chosen and compiled by me, Andrew, experienced photo editor, photographer and general dog's body!. Editing is a labour of love with so many great pictures coming in from our growing number of talented photographers. Take a look at the Down to Earth feature hub below, it's one of my favourites, amazing images that make you question whether they're really photos - leaves you breathless when they're enlarged to wall mural size for corporate headquarters or, like me, have one hanging in your dining room!

Pilbara Paradox
Itís like having a great lawn and inviting a puppy over to play; almost certain physical carnage. Thatís the paradox facing the Pilbara, one of Australiaís most pristine and remarkable landscapes and also the one with the most mining and developmental activity. We thought it would be a good idea to preserve the memory of the Pilbara before it becomes too full of holes.

Historic Mowbray Collection
Muriel Mowbray Stephenson was an early Australian woman commercial photographer. Her interest in photography began in her native Tasmania at the beginning of last century and continued in Sydney, where she moved at the start of the Great War. She worked first in the Darlinghurst studio of C.S. Beers who published under the title Carlton Series. From the time of World War II, she took over the business and along with her life-long business partner Val Lassau, published as the Mowbray Series. Muriel's distinctive cursive handwriting appeared as title information on the face of thousands of photographs distributed in Australia for decades.
